What Our Students Say

We focus on providing a safe and fun atmosphere for our students. Here is some of what they have to say:

“I attended a ladies self defense class and really enjoyed it. Everyone was very helpful and the class was very fun and informative at the same time. I’m looking forward to going to more of these classes for sure!”

Kara A.

“Awesome school! Couldn’t ask for better people to train with. I was in town visiting and they treated me like one of their own.”

Richard H.

“From beginner to expert, there is no better place in the area. It is my home. The people there are my brothers and sisters. All are welcome.”

Dane J.

Our Principles

As an affiliate of the Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu Association, our academy philosophy is rooted in a code of principles called the “Six Blades” which shapes the conduct of all instructors and students both inside and outside of the academy. The six blades are: family, respect, honor, loyalty, attitude, and discipline. In addition to teaching the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, instructors will be encouraging the development of these principles during the course of training and expect students to strive to practice them.

Safety

We emphasize safety in our training practices. We protect ourselves and our training partners. All of our instructors are Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certified.
